We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving with the family. Then we decorated the tree for Christmas! Great weekend.

We were at Bud & Mary Ann's celebrating cousin Suzanne's birthday and had our picture taken in front of their fireplace. Same place we stood when we got married 36 years ago.

Alexandria Cheer competition

Alexandria was in the cheer competition this week. The competition was held at my alma mater, Heights High School. So fun to watch! Independent Middle School placed 2nd and they were competing against high school cheerleaders.

Taylor's Science Project

Taylor designed a computer game for a Science project. It was similiar to PacMan.


Everyone tried playing the game. I am amazed at how he put it together!

Designing Women Holiday Tables

I am president of Wichita Center for the Arts Designing Women support group this year. Our annual fundraiser is Holiday Tables. We have tables decorated with various themes. The event was Thursday through Sunday. The public can see the tables, visit a gift shop and enjoy lunch. The money we raise goes to support the Center's programs. WCA is celebrating it's 90th anniversary this year. The event was kicked off with a private Preview Party.

Annual Van Sickle Weekend in KC

We had our annual trip to Kansas City with Tom & Betty and Gregg & Carey. We stayed at the Rapheal. Dinner on Friday at the Raphael, then on Saturday a great dinner at Capital Grill. After we play we end the weekend with lunch with all the KC kids at P.F. Chang. The weekend wouldn't be complete without the art work that Gregg does for us each year. Great time together!
