Fireworks in Kansas City

We enjoyed the night and Memorial Day in KC with Jeana, Josh and Harper. We got rooms at Crown Center and watched the fireworks from the balcony. Harper did not like the fire works! "Fireworks go boom up in sky, but they won't hurt me." Then we went to Union Station to see the dinosurs and scared her some more! But, she ended up with a red balloon that made it all worthwhile!

Birthday Girls!

We celebrated Alexandria and Mom's birthday this week. Mom was 86 on May 6th and Alexandria was 14 on May 7th. Each had their own birthday cake. How fun to celebrate together!

Harper's Second Birthday

We celebrated Harper's 2nd birthday in Kansas City. Great Mema & Papa Gatewood, Josh's mom Sherry, aka Gigi, Josh, Jeana, Harper and cousin Kelley were there. We had lunch at the Capital Grill. Harper loved her presents, cake and balloon!

Time for birthday pictures at Botanica

Since we did Harper's one year old pictures at Botanica Gardens, we returned for the 2 year old pictures. It's fun to roam the gardens and take lots of pictures!
