Happy Birthday Jeff!

We celebrated Jeff's birthday. Getting a serious picture with the grandkiddos can be a challenge! We got tickets to take the kids to see Taylor Swift. For fun I wrapped them and gave them to Jeff. There were some tense moments as he "decided" who he would take with him! Alexandria was a little excited!

Kansas City Anniversary trip

We went to KC for our annual anniversary trip. We stayed at the Raphael, had dinner at the Capital Grill and saw one of the McFadden brothers at the Intercontinental lounge. Love the plaza lights!

Intrust Bank Arena opening

Jeff's firm and three other firms were the Architects for the new Sedgwick County arena. The Intrust Bank Arena had the official opening on January 2, 2010. It was great to see the results of several years of hard work. It is a real show place for Wichita!

New Year's Celebration

We celebrated the new year with our good friends the Copelands, Wilhites, Brammers, Smolas & Broeckelmans at Ya Ya's. This is the second year we have gotten the private room. It is a great evening of good food and conversation. The group pics didn't turn out, but luckily this picture of Jeff turned out great!

Gossen, Livingston, McCluggage & Van Sickle

It is official, as of January 1, 2010, Gossen Livingston and McCluggage, Van Sickle & Perry (MVP) have merged to form Gossen, Livingson, McCluggage & Van Sickle (GLMV). The merger forms the third largest architectural firm in Wichita and has offices in Kansas City and Houston. For now they will maintaing both locations until they can move into one building. This has been a thoughtful decision that is both exciting and challenging for Jeff.

Christmas 2009

What a wonderful Christmas with all of the children and grandchildren! Everyone arrived on the 24th and were able to stay through the weekend. We had a beautiful snow. On Christmas eve the kids delivered the annual cheeseballs to our friends and neighbors. We enjoyed our Christmas eve dinner and attended services at church. After the service we went to the annual Christmas Eve party at the Perry's. Before bed the girls and I made the breakfast casserole and cinnamon pull apart. Of course Jeana and Jill had new Christmas pj's to wear! Christmas day was spent opening packages eating lunch and enjoying the day. On Saturday we were snowed in and had to wait until Sunday to go to Emporia. Saturday night we had fun doing a little karaoke with Brad's Band Hero. A whole new experience for Jeff & me.
